Billie Wilcox's Obituary
Billie Frances Weaver Wilcox passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior on
January 3, 2025 at the age of 87. She was born August 4, 1937 in Rusk, TX to Oscar
Crawford and Sally Adell Weaver.
She married David Carl Wilcox on August 26, 1955. Their marriage was filled with
many years of love and devotion until his death in November of 2012.
Billie was a housewife who enjoyed her role as a loving mother to son, Lannie,
and daughter, Karon. She was proud of her family and was devoted to supporting
her husband and children.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Wilcox, her parents and her
sisters Pauline Duggan, Margie Wolfe and Linda Tropp.
Left to cherish her memory are her son Lannie Wilcox and wife Michele of
Henderson, daughter Karon Glass and husband Keith of Tyler, seven
grandchildren, many great grandchildren, brother Joe Weaver and wife Vicki of
Jacksonville and sister Rosemary Cannon and husband David of Jacksonville.
We rejoice knowing that she is reunited with all her loved ones who had gone
before. A private family burial for Billie will be held at Rusk County Memorial Gardens.
