Billie Marie Traylor's Obituary
Funeral services for Billie Traylor, 88, of Longview will be 11 am Saturday, May 30, 2015 at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Rev. Jay Barnes officiating. Burial will follow at Rosewood Park.
Visitation with the family will be Friday, May 29, 2015 from 6 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home.
Billie was born on September 26, 1926 in San Diego, Texas to William and Alberta Handly. She married her high school sweetheart, Frank Traylor on March 5, 1948. She was a member of Winterfield United Methodist Church and a lifetime member of the Longview Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. She moved with her husband, Frank and young son, Dennis to Longview in 1951.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Frank; her daughter, Kimberly and her sister, Roberta Pierpont.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son Dennis Traylor and his wife, Tamara of Longview; and several special nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family asks that memorials be made to Winterfield United Methodist Church or the charity of your choice.
