Billie Marcille Morrow's Obituary
Billie Marcille Morrow passed away to be with her Lord on December 9, 2012.
Services for Billie Morrow, 81, of Longview, will be on Friday, December 14, 2012 at 2pm at Rader Funeral Home, at 1617 Judson Rd. Longview, Texas. Officiating and celebrating her life will be Robert Johnson and Don Lawler of Longview Church of Christ.
Billie was a graduate of New London High School in New London, Texas. Billie and her sister, Jesse, were survivors of the New London School Explosion in 1937.
She was an avid quilter and oil painter. She was a charter member of the Longview Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee & Tennie Shaw and a brother, Pete Shaw.
Grieving her passing yet celebrating her life are her husband of 62 years, Jim Morrow of Longview, her son, Gary Morrow and his wife, Lesa, of Longview, her daughter, Janet Pritchard and her husband, Mark, of Austin, Texas, her sisters, Jesse Carroll of Mowequa, Illinois, Betty Odom of Arlington, Texas and her brother, LT Shaw of Casper, Wyoming.
Also surviving are Billie's grandchildren, Jeremy Morrow and his wife, Summer, of Pflugerville, Texas, Justin Morrow of Houston, Texas, Kelsey Baird and her husband, David, of Searcy, Arkansas and Caitlin Pritchard of Austin, Texas and great-grandchildren, Riley and Gracelyn Morrow of Pflugerville, Texas, Evan Morrow of Longview and many nieces and nephews.
Appreciation is extended to Summer Meadows Nursing Home for their care and compassion.
