Billie Marcella Boyett Bonner
Billie Marcella Boyett Bonner passed away Sunday July 11, 2004. Mrs. Bonner was born October 22, 1924 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Monroe and Mattie Boyett who precede her in death. On July 29, 1945 Billie married Deward Bonner and they moved to Longview. Deward and Billie worked together as a team operating gas stations on east and west Hiway 80, later having Bonner?s 66 and U-Haul up until his death in 1983. Mrs. Bonner was a member of the Northside Baptist Church.
Survivor?s include two daughters and sons-in-law, Lawanna Faye Sikorski and husband William of Longview, TX.; Glynda Kay Cureton and husband James of Lake Cherokee;
Two sisters, Mary Ellen Johnson and Clotile Swan both of Shreveport, Louisiana; one brother, Curtis Ray Boyett of Shreveport, Louisiana; one granddaughter, Laura Rebecca Coles and husband Jeff, one grandson, Geoff Sikorski and wife Holly, great-granddaughter, Alivea Hope Coles, two great grandsons, Logan Marshall Sikorski and Gavin Austin Sikorski , very special friends, Deloris and James Harris of Queen City, TX.; Sue Jean Kiker of Longview, TX.; Rebecca Dewalt of Houston, TX.;
Later in her life Billie worked at TG&Y in the Fabric Department, she also worked for Wal-Mart in the Fabric Department for eighteen years. Billie was a wonderful
Seamstress. She loved flowers and working in her yard. She also enjoyed fishing fresh and Salt Water. Billie leaves behind many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at Two O?clock PM Wednesday July 14, 2004 at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel 1617 Judson Road with Reverend Steve Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Park Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
The Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Tuesday July 13, 2004 from 6pm until 8 pm.
