Billie Jean Barton's Obituary
Funeral services for Billie Jean Smith Barton will be held Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Bar-None Cowboy Church with Jason Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Strong Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Henderson.
Ms. Barton died Thursday, September 15, 2011 at Good Shepherd Hospital, Longview.
She was born January 16, 1933 in Henderson, Texas to William Robert Noblit and Lila Lavelle Fox Noblit.
She was preceded in death by Harold W. Smith, Longview, and William "Bill" Smith, Henderson.
Surviving are her daughters, Janet Smith Decker Maxwell and husband Don Maxwell, Kilgore, TX, and Donna Smith, Longview. Grandchildren, SSG Gary Decker and wife Hannah Decker, Leavenworth, Kansas, Kristal Clay and husband Bill Clay, Henderson, Don Paul Maxwell, Georgetown Iraq, Shellie Benson, Longview, Stephanie Stewart, Longview, Clayton Smith and wife Chelsea, Henderson, and Jennifer Smith Claveloux, Tyler Texas; and loving great-grandchildren who will miss her deeply.
Pallbearers will be Clayton Smith, SSG Gary Decker, Bill Clay, Matthew Clay, Don Maxwell, Trent Benson, Bricen Benson, Gerald Timmons.
Honorary Pallbearers will be PFC Zac Clay Iraq, Don "Paul" Maxwell Iraq and Cameron Clay Washington State.
Visitation will be Friday from 7-9PM at Rader Funeral Home.
