Billie Ruth and I are cousins. I first met her when she welcomed my dad, HB Kiser, and me into her home while we were visiting with her mom shortly before she passed. What a lovely lady and I was excited to learn that she enjoyed square dancing as much as I do. I was not aware of her passing in 2020, I noticed that her birthday is coming up, so I googled to find her. I want to wish her family happy memories on her special day.
Billie was a dear friend as a neighbor and square dancer. I had let my activity in the Lucky Squares lapse when my wife passed away in 1981 and ten one night 9 years ago I ran into Billie in our driveway all decked out in her square dance attire on the way to a Lucky Squares dance and a few weeks later she got me to go to a dance. From then on she drug me to the dances with she and her partner. Each Christmas she would bake me a sugar free pie. Was the best Christmas gift I would get each year. Her passing creates a void in my life. God bless you kids at this time.

I met Billie many years ago when she worked as the church secretary at Wesley Methodist Church.. She was always busy, keeping everything moving and in order. Her infectious smile and friendly personality made her the perfect church secretary. In recent years she faced her health issues with grace and courage. She was a dear lady. Heaven is a little sweeter today.

It was my privilege to minister to and love Billie these last three years.She was really something. Quite a gal!!!!! Some of my favorite memories was how much she loved sweets No matter what I brought her, she loved it.Some of us from The Ministry Church would bring food to the three of them. Billie was the "Salt of the Earth".So thankful at long last she's with Jesus.
So sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. I know she has been sick a while and thankful she no longer has to suffer. She has been a part of my life for such a long time and missed her over the past few years. Our times at Wesley will always be special. Praying for your family at this time of loss.
