Bill Nobles
Funeral services for Bill Nobles, 76, of East Mountain, will be held at 2 PM Monday, June 13, 2005 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Reverend Earl Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Mattox Cemetery
in Diana, Texas.
Bill was born January 19, 1929 in Grapeland, Texas to Joseph and Gladys Nobles and passed away Thursday, June 9, 2005 at his residence.
He had been a residence of the East Mountain area for 10 years coming from Diana.
Bill served his country in the US Navy as an air traffic controller from 1946 - 1965.
He was in the real estate business for 20 years and owned and operated a grocery in Diana for 10 years.
Mr. Nobles is survived by three sons, Tim Nobles of Longview, Philip Nobles of Kilgore, Ronald Nobles of Diana; daughter, Suzanne Albritton of Diana; step-children, Greg Sloan, Keith Sloan and Cindy Hocker, all of Longview; nine grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren and one great grandchild.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday afternoon, June 12, from 3-5 PM.
