Bill E. Weaver's Obituary
Funeral services for Bill E.Weaver, age 84 of Henderson, will be held Saturday May 21, 2011 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Henderson with Rev. Jim Moss officiating. Burial will follow in the Rusk County Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Bill Weaver, the only son of Roe & Bonnie Mae Weaver was born January 7, 1927 in Crims Chapel at the home of his grandparents John & Lilly Yandle. He was carried home to the waiting and loving arms of God by angels on May 17, 2011.
He married his best friend and the love of his life, Betty on March 27, 1980. They cherished over 31 years of a very loving marriage. In addition to Betty, he is survived by his son Ronald Weaver and his family of Longview, daughter Sophie Alston, and her family of Hallsville, daughter Dotti Waldon and son-in-law Terry of New London, son Gerald Dunlap and daughter-in-law Tiffany of Deer Park, son Kirby Shattuck and daughter-in-law Debbie Shattuck of Tyler, grandchildren Dave West of the U.S.Navy, Kevin West of White Oak, Brian West of and his fianc Alex Najera both of White Oak, Rowdy Dunlap of Longview, Tierra Dunlap, Marissa Dunlap and twin grandsons Korben and Kaden Dunlap all of Deer Park, Leslie Howell of Troup, great granddaughter Chloe West of White Oak and great grandson Casen Howell of Troup. He is also survived by a large extended family of friends, cousins, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Bill was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church of Henderson, but his most cherished service to his Lord and Saviour was as a member of the board of directors for Love Worth Sharing Ministries Inc.. He supported this ministry of Jim and Rita Moss traveling miles and miles to attend revival services at many churches in East Texas, Louisiana, and Arkanasas. Mr. Weaver loved the Mosses so much they became part of the Weaver family as Bill became their "Texas Dad". He made many, many friends through his service with the ministry all of whom have been praying for him tirelessly over the last few years of his courageous battle with Carcinoid Cancer.
The family would like to thank, Dr. Robert Droder, Dr. Charles Beall, Dr. Richard Seidel, Nurse Kristi Pearce, and the Chemo nurses and staff of Tyler Hematology Oncology for
their years of dedication in to Mr. Weavers care.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Baughman, Joe Strong, Oscar Bishop, Johnny Foster, Gerald Waldon, and Keith Brightwell.
Honorary pallbearers will be Rev. Cliff Hughes, George Muckelroy, Jack Lout, Dennis Webb, Gene Williams and fellow Board of Directors of the Love Worth Sharing Evangelistic Ministries Inc.
The family will meet friends at the Funeral Home from 6~8 pm Friday
