Beverly Stroman Pate
Graveside services for Beverly Stroman Pate, 82, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 23, at Rosewood Park Garden of Roses Pavilion Reverend Wayne McKay officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. prior to the service. Beverly went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 21, 2016. She was born on May 4, 1933 in Marietta, TX to Alvin and Marie Stroman. Beverly attended school in Omaha, TX and graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School.
Beverly became a bank teller and then married Rae Pate of Cookville, TX in 1951. Rae and Beverly spent many years in ministry in the Baptist Missionary Association. She retired in 1992 from Texas Commerce Bank in downtown Longview.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband of 49 years, Rae Pate; and grandson, Chance Pate.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Debra and husband, James Buie, Jr. of Diana; two sons, Randy and his wife, Denise Pate and Alan Pate, all of Longview; 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
The family wishes to thank Pine Tree Lodge and Heart to Heart Hospice for the great care given their mother.
