I will never forget Bev. When I arrived in Longview, she adopted me as one of her family. She was the most giving, and compassionate person that I have ever met, and her love was always unconditional.
Without Beverlys's help, I would have not achieved some of my dreams. She took me to New York and Europe. She did not have to, but she did, and she did it because she loved me. She also completely supported me when I was going to school to become a teacher. She also took care of Bec when she was a baby, so I could go to school. Again, she did not have to, but she did, and for the same reason.
She was an excellent cook, and it was another way to show her love; through her meals. Her meals were abundant and wonderful. She would share her recipes with me, and I inherited some of her traditional dishes to celebrate Thanksgiving, but I do not think that I can ever live up to those feasts that she used to prepare.
I will miss you Bev. You were a sweet and caring person that I had the pleasure and honor to meet. We will meet again some day. Love you
