Funeral services for Beulah Fambrough Gregory, 91, of Longview will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2005 at the First Baptist Church, 503 N. Lee, Valley View, Texas with the Reverend Glen Kersey officiating. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. She passed away Friday, July 15, 2005 at her residence at Buckner Westminster Place in Longview. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Gregory was born September 24, 1913 in Byers, Texas to B. H. and Nora Casson Fambrough. She was a longtime resident of Valley View, and moved to Longview in January of 2005 to be near her daughter and family. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Valley View, where she taught the Women?s Adult Sunday School Class for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband L. O. Gregory, grandson, Gregory ?Bo? Griffin, her parents, and 3 brothers.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters and sons-in-law, Dorothy and William A. Van Dine of Apex, NC and Margaret and Carlos Griffin of Kilgore, TX; grandsons, William A. Van Dine, Jr. of Woodbridge, VA, Britton Van Dine and wife Janet of San Marcos, TX, Gregory Van Dine and wife Karen of Spring, TX, Carlos ?Scooter? Griffin, Jr. and wife Debbie of Kilgore, and Paul Griffin and wife Donna of Kilgore; granddaughter-in-law, Nancy Griffin of Kilgore; 12 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandsons; 1 niece; and 2 nephews.
The family has asked that all flowers be sent to the First Baptist Church, 503 N. Lee, Valley View, TX.
