Beulah Hengy's Obituary
Beulah Hengy, 83, of Longview, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2002 at her residence. She was born October 7, 1918 in Warrington, Florida to George and Doris Hengy.
Miss Hengy was a resident of Longview since 1936 coming from Florida and was a member of the St. Mary?s Catholic Church.
Beulah Hengy started working for the law offices of Judge Edwin Lacy and Jack Price in the late 1930?s. The offices were located on the second floor of the old McCarley Building located downtown. Beulah became an employee of R. Lacy, Inc. in 1944 and retired in 1999 after 55 years of service. She was the Corporate Secretary when she retired.
A rosary will be recited at 1:30 PM Monday, July 15 at St. Mary?s Catholic Church and Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 2:00 PM with Father Gavin Vavarek officiating. Interment will follow in Grace Hill Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
Miss Hengy was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Myrtle Hengy.
She is survived by her cousins, Otto Crona of Lufkin, TX, Mary A. Lehr of Gresham, OR, and Denise Hamelin of Pasadena, CA.
