Betty White Ruchti's Obituary
Betty White Ruchti went home to be with her Lord on April 10, 2009. She was a longtime resident of Union City, Tennessee before moving to Longview, Texas. There will be a graveside service at Rosewood Park Cemetery in the mausoleum on Tuesday April 14, 2009 at 10:00 AM under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
Mrs. Ruchti was born December 15, 1921 in St. Anthony, Idaho, daughter of the late Susan Kathryn White Lydiatt and Reed White. She moved to Pocatello, Idaho at an early age. After marrying Ross Ruchti on April 13, 1941, she resided in Denver, Colorado; Chicago, Illinois; Nashville, Tennessee and Union City, Tennessee. She was a devoted wife, mother of four children and lifetime hospital volunteer. In 1994, she was recognized by the Hospital Auxiliary Association of Tennessee as the hospital volunteer of the year from Union City, TN. After her husbands death she resided at Buckner –Westminster Place in Longview, Texas and Heritage House of Brandon, Mississippi. At the time of her death, she was a resident at The Harbor at Buckner Westminster Place in Longview, Texas.
Mrs. Ruchti was preceded in death her parents, stepfather Ivan Lydiatt, brother, Hayes, and husband, Ross. She is survived by her daughters, Susan Lindsay of Jackson, Mississippi, Kay Hepler Ron of Longview, Texas, and her sons Robert Ruchti Beth of Dade City, Florida and John Ruchti of Southhaven, Mississiippi ; grandchildren, Kelly Hall Cliff of Barksdale Air Force Base Louisiana, Michael Lindsay Rebecca of Houston, Texas, Trent Hepler Alycia of Longview, Texas, Tyler Ruchti of Dade City, Florida, Craig Ruchti of Dade City, Florida, Ross Ruchti of Southaven Mississippi , and seven great grandchildren.
The family requests memorials are made to Butler Westminster Place of Longview Texas or Beacon Hospice of Longview, Texas.
