On behalf of CPI SAT Kilgore (aka) General Dynamics. Betty (aka) Mom to all of us worked for me in planning for many years. She retired back in October 2015. Betty was punctual always on time bright and early every morning @ 6am. She was ready to retire and spend time with Autumn and her family to reflect on the past, enjoy the present and embrace the future ahead. I would always text or call her yearly on her birthday and during parade of homes which she loved to go in Longview and the surrounding areas. Betty’s legacy will live on through her children, grandkids, and siblings which she often talked about and visited. Hold tight to memories for comfort, lean on your friends and family for strength, and always remember that we care and share in your loss.❣️️🕊️🙏🏾

Betty was my older sister by one year and two weeks. It was just the two of us for the first almost two and a half years of my life. The story I remember was mom telling me was that when I was just a baby I was placed in the middle of a regular bed and Betty was told to not climb up there and bother me or else I would "sock her in the nose". Not long after that my mom heard me crying loudly. She stepped into the bedroom and found Betty on the bed beside me. My mom said what happened? Betty said I socked HIM in the nose! That probably was her first and last act of violence. She always had that smile on her face. She was always kind to everyone that I can recall. I miss her greatly.

Betty was the oldest of the 10 kids in our family. How she put up with us, I guess I'll never know. Betty had a kind and loving heart and she will forever be missed by all of us. She has moved on to join family that went before us. A family reunion is taking place there. I will always keep Betty in my thoughts, prayers and in my heart. Have a wonderful journey. Dennis

Oh, Aunt Betty… it’s been forever since I’ve seen you. I remember you as an amazing person… strong and confident. There were hints and under currents of storms survived, which transformed you into the woman you became.

My mother always told me I looked more like you than her. I’d like to think I have your spunk.

As the eldest of the bunch, you were used to being a trailblazer. Now your star blazes across the heavens as if to say, “I lived a life worth living…”
