Services for Betty Ann Somerville, 70, of Longview will be held 10:00am Thursday June 29, 2017 in the chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Henderson with Bro. Ben Clayton and John Birdwell officiating.
Mrs. Somerville passed away June 19, 2017 in Longview. She was born November 5, 1946 in Henderson to John and Mable Birdwell.
Betty was preceded in death by her father; John Henry Birdwell, Sr.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years; Neil Mac Somerville, Sr., son; Neil Somerville, Jr. & wife Shirley of Denver, CO, grandkids; William, Alexander & Christopher of Denver, CO, mother; Catherine Birdwell of Henderson, sister; Janie Sledge & husband Billy of Henderson, brother; John Birdwell & wife Kathy of Granbury, sister-in-law; Mary Elliott & husband Burl of Chapel Hill, nieces; Tracie Reed of Humble, Brandi Elliot of Chapel Hill, Dr. Christine Birdwell of College Station, Rachel Hiatt of Dallas and a nephew David Sledge of Henderson.
Betty Really enjoyed her social clubs and her “card playing ladies”.
The family will receive friends from 9:00am until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
