I always thought Ms Betty was one of the loveliest ladies I ever saw. And she was just as gracious as she was lovely.
One funny memory I have of her was when she told a few of us of her upbringing. Her daddy was strict. She was not allowed to wear shorts in her home. Ms Betty said one of the first things she did when she married Mr. Fred was to get her some shorts! Seems that Mr. Fred didn't mind!
The LORD blessed each of us who were priviledged to know this lady who truly loved her Savior.
