Betty Jo Podest's Obituary
Betty Jo Podest of Longview passed away on December 14, 2021. She was born May 25, 1936, in Pleasanton, Tx. Betty worked as a homemaker most of her life. She loved to travel and one of her favorite trips was a trip to Hawaii.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents and her brother-in-law Jerome Podest. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Vladimir Joseph Podest, son Vladimir Joseph Podest II, stepdaughter Melinda Podest Supak, daughter Yvonne Zumwalt, grandchildren Kelsi Podest McGillivray, Brynna Podest, Ariel and Austin Supak, twin great-grandchildren Jonah and Leira Supak and great-granddaughter Ryleigh McGillivray, and sister-in-laws Betty Mach and Patsy Busenlehner.
Pallbearers for the service will be Michael Mach, Jeffrey Mach, and Stephen Redman.
Funeral services for Betty Jo Podest of Longview, Tx will be at 10 am, Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Longview. Visitation will be from 4 PM to 6 PM Monday, December 20, 2021, at Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
