Betty Jean Riddle Barnett's Obituary
Betty Jean Winslow Riddle Barnett passed away Thursday, December 24, 2009 at ETMC Henderson.
Mrs. Barnett was born September 10, 1926 in Ogden , Utah. She came to Henderson in 1946 when she married B.F. Ben Riddle. They had five children, Linda, Glenn, Lewis, Charles and Benny. Mrs. Barrett remarried in 1966 to A.J. Andy Barnett and they lived in Hadley, Texas, near Ft. Worth. She lived there until the early 1980s when she returned to Henderson. She has made her home at the Chalice Apartments since 1989, leaving behind many dear friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 27, from 3 to 5 PM at the Rader Funeral Home of Henderson. Graveside services will be held at Youngblood Cemetery at 10:30 AM Monday, December 28, 2009, with Rev. Bill Kuykendall officiating.
She was preceded in death by both husbands; son, Charles Arthur Riddle, December 25, 1998, and a granddaughter, Jennifer Kourtney Armstrong.
Surviving is her daughter, Linda Riddle Leggett and husband David of Henderson; sons,
Glenn Riddle and Lewis Riddle, both of Henderson; Benny Riddle and wife Brenda of Texarkana, TX.; Grandchildren; Jeff Armstrong and wife Carolann of Henderson, Misty Riddle Harris of Texarkana, Jason Riddle and wife Krista of Fouke, Arkansas, and Jodi Riddle Simon and husband D.J. of Texarkana; great grandchildren, Jennifer and Jefferson Armstrong, Johnathan and Haley Harris, and Jordan and Trey Simon; sisters-in-law, Ida B. Riddle of Henderson, Rae Winslow of Providence, Utah; brothers-in-law, G.W. Riddle of Ft. Worth, Charles L. Riddle and wife Mae Dale of Paris, and Wallace B. Riddle and wife Joan of Henderson; cousins, Martha Hurd of Logan, Utah and Joyce Houghton of Lancaster, California.
