Betty Jean Brown's Obituary
Betty Jean Brown age 81 of Longview passed away January 14, 2013 at Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview. She was born July 17, 1931 to Edgar and Mary Todd in Victoria, Texas. At age 5 the family moved to Kilgore, Texas where Betty attended local schools growing up and graduated from Kilgore High School.
Betty a graduate of Beauty College in Longview founded and operated "Betty's Beauty Shop" in White Oak for over 40 years. Betty loved to cook and was very good at it. Her children, grand and great-grandchildren were the love and highlight of her life.
Betty met Robert Brown and on June 10, 1977 they were married and spent the next 35 years together as a loving family.
Betty is survived by her loving husband Robert Brown of Longview, son, Arnold Bubba Eudy of Longview, step-daughters, Martha Blankenship and her husband Jerry of White Oak, Sherry Lunstedt and her husband Glenn of White Oak, grandchildren, David Quinn, Lacey Quinn, Jordan Eudy, Dillon Eudy, Todd Blankenship, Craig Blankenship, Grant Lunstedt, Amber Lunstedt, Audrey Lunstedt, great-grandchildren, Mason Quinn and Autumn Lunstedt. Betty's daughter Terri Quinn precedes her in passing.
Funeral services will be today, Thursday, January 17, 2013 at Rader Funeral Home in Longview starting at noon, Officiating will be Reverend Bill Voss. Interment will follow services at Rosewood Park in Longview.
