Betty Jane Murrell's Obituary
Graveside services for Betty Jane Murrell, 60, of Longview, will be 2 PM Monday at the Ore City Cemetery in Ore City, Texas with Reverend Charles L. Schoon and Reverend Jed Hampton officiating.
Mrs. Murrell died Saturday, December 29, at her residence.
She was born October 27, 1941 in Gilmer, Texas to William and Katherine Davenport.
Mrs. Murrell was a homemaker, antique dealer and member of the Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, John W. Murrell.
She is survived by her children, Mesa Lynn and husband David Reel of Plano, Texas, John Andrew Murrell of Baton Rouge, LA; grandchild, Karlye Reel of Plano, mother, Katherine Davenport of Longview, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Karan Murrell of Biloxi, MS., sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Debbie and Paul Phillips of Ore City, Texas.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, please send memorial donations to the American Heart Association. The famiy will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 5 PM until 7 PM.
