One of the bright spots during my career in education was in 1997 when I began my tenure at Trinity School of Texas where I was blessed to meet, work with, and enjoy a special friendship with Betty. Guided by what was best for the children, she was a quiet, strong influence on the success of TST. Whatever wrongs or inefficiencies she saw, she graciously and kindly led others toward making positive moves in the right direction.
Betty was consistently the same wherever I saw her, and whenever our paths crossed, I always knew she would greet me with her beautiful smile and a warm hug. My prayers go out to all of the family and friends whose lives will never quite be the same without her. May God bring you comfort, peace and joy during the days ahead.
