Graveside services for Betty Gay, 80, of Longview will be held at Ten o?clock am Thursday August 11, 2005 at Lakeview Memorial Gardens with Reverend Dale Covington officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mrs. Gay passed away Saturday August 6, 2005 in Longview.
She was born January 22, 1925 in Independence, Kansas to Elwood and Edna Hayes. She was a retired office manager at Fedway?s. She was active in the Order of Eastern Star, Hallsville Chapter 995. She was a member and past president of the Social Order of Beauceant #179 in Longview, Harrison county SHrine Auxillary Marshall, Texas. Member of the daughters of the Nile, Sharon Temple #127 Tyler, Texas, Past Matron and past Patrons Association Dis. 1 sec. 8 Sharon Temple Mustan Auxillary.
She is survived a very dear friend, Maurine Philllips, a cousin, Naomi Gorman and niece Janice Broyles.
She was preceded in death by her husband Billy M. Gay.
