Betty F. Harris Johnson's Obituary
Services for Betty Harris Johnson will be held in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 24 at 2pm with Vaughn Henry officiating. A visitation will be held at Rader Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5-7pm. Betty went to be with the Lord in the early evening of Saturday, February 20, 2016 surrounded by family.
Betty Johnson was born to parents James and Velma Evans on February 25, 1942 in Gilmer TX. Betty always had a love of Christ, serving to help churches in Vacation Bible School and organizing the visiting of Nursing Homes. She never met a stranger in her life, and was always the love of friends who knew her good heart. Above everything that Betty enjoyed, she loved spending time with her family. Her family truly was the number one thing in her life.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Velma Evans; and her husband Henry Harris. Those left to cherish the memory of Betty include her husband James Johnson; daughter Rhonda Bustin and her husband Jerry; sisters Wanda Fitzgerald, Kay Gardner, and Pauline Romiske with husband Jerry; grandchildren Michael and Jeremy Haden; 6 great-grandchilden; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
