Services for Betty Crabb, 70, of Longview will be held at Ten O?clock AM Tuesday May 17, 2005 at the Trinity Baptist Church in Lakeport on Hiway 149 with Reverend Billy Foote and Reverend Mike Jenkins officiating. Burial will be at 2:30 pm Tuesday at Restland Cemetery in Dallas, Texas under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mrs. Crabb passed away Friday May 13, 2005 in Longview.
She was born August 7, 1934 in Durant, Oklahoma to George and Rhilla McPherson. She was a retired bank teller at Texas Bank and Trust and a member of the Trinity Baptist Church. She also a member of the Good Shepherd Medical Center Auxiliary. She had resided in Longview since 1970.
She is survived by her husband James Crabb of Longview; son and daughter-in-law, Don and Sabrina Tally of Midland, TX.; daughter and son-in-law, Lyn and Bill Wallace of Longview, TX.; two step-sons, Paul Crabb of Plano, TX.; Douglas Crabb and wife Jean of Virginia Beach, VA.; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a sister, Jo Lanell Payne of Derby, Kansas and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday May 16, 2005 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Memorials may be made to the Trinity Baptist Church or the Good Shepherd Medical Center Auxiliary.
