Mrs. Betty Carol Bass' Obituary
Funeral services for Betty Carol Bass, 73, of Longview will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, July 5, 2017 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with Reverend David Reeder officiating. Mrs. Bass passed away Friday evening in a local hospital. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1-2 prior to the service.
Betty was born on January 23, 1944 in Longview Texas to Blanche Standridge and Oland J. Walker. She was a lifelong resident of Longview. She was the owner and operator of Betty’s Poodle Parlor. Betty loved collecting antiques, working in her yard and planting flowers. She loved her family and will be greatly missed.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 35 years, Gary Bass; her daughter Crystal Matter and her husband Gary; her sons Charles Fopay and Jacob Fopay; her grandchildren Nathan Matter and Kali Kolojaco; and great grandchildren Bailee Matter and Kinlea Kolojaco.
