Betty Ballenger Moran Fleet's Obituary
Betty Ballenger Moran Fleet went to be with her Heavenly Father on June 6, 2003 after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. Her warm smile and loving spirit will be missed tremendously by her family and friends. Betty is survived by her husband, James Fleet of Harleton; daughter Dee Goodman; son-in-law, Steve Goodman of Plano, TX.; son Rick Moran and daughter-in-law, Belinda Moran of Allen, TX.; grandsons, Derrick and Grayson Goodman and wife, Kelli; great granddaughter, Alexis Goodman, all from the Dallas area; grandson, Casey Moran; granddaughter, Katy Moran, all of Allen, TX; sister-in-law, Gladys Ballenger of Longview; stepchildren, James E. Fleet of Goldwaithe, TX, Shirley Fleet of Van, TX, and Dean Fleet of South, Texas.
Mrs. Fleet was born June 24, 1926 in Elderville, TX to Lewis and Dora Ballenger. She was a homemaker, secretary for Bell/Gossett which later became Marlow Pump and a member of the Lone Oak Baptist Church of Lake of the Pines.
Services will be held at 10 AM Monday, June 9, 2003 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home, 1617 Judson Rd., with Brother Ron Hardman and Brother Wayne Mentor officiating. Interment will follow in Elderville Cemetery.
The family has asked that memorial donations be made to the Lone Oak Baptist Church or the Neal McCoy?s East Texas Angel Network.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday afternoon,
June 8, from 3 until 5 PM.
