Mrs. Allen was born on July 7, 1928, in Norphlet, Arkansas to Albert and Bessy Duplissy. Betty loved her family and loved taking care of them. She will always be remembered for her big heart and how she always put others first.

She loved the simple things like, at a moments notice going to dairy queen and getting a chocolate covered ice cream cone. She love to go camping and fishing and in the last five years she became attached to her iPad where she could play many games and read her bible and books.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Allen; and her children, Bill, Randy, and Sherri Allen.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and Pam Allen and Pat and Karen Allen; her brother, Gaylon Duplissy, Jr; 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; her daughter-in-law Brenda Coates; and numerous nieces and nephews.
