We first met Bettie and Jim 42 years ago - just before their trip to Las Vegas. We were neighbors, travelling buddies and friends for all those years. My late husband, Ed, and I shared several of those RV trips with Bettie and Jim. Bettie, Ed and I would play cards while Jim drove to our next destination.
There was always a lot of laughter when we were together.
I remember always having to wait for Bettie to finish her beauty routine :) She was always "put together" and beautiful no matter what we were doing - going fishing still required full makeup, hair and nails.
Rest well my friend. I love you.
