I met sweet BK many years ago when we worked together at Meredith, Donnell and I was in love with her spirit from day one! She made my wedding bouquet and it was so beautiful! I spoke with her a while back after almost 20 years or so and it was like no time had passed at all. She was just that kind of loving person. We talked about everything and everyone --all of our kids and grandkids and people we worked with. It was the most amazing conversation. It made me miss her even more!! We had planned on getting together and seeing each other and it breaks my heart we were not able to. I will miss you terribly BK and will always remember your heart and your beautiful smile. Until we meet again my dear dear friend. I love you!!
We are so very sorry to hear of Bette Kay’s passing…too young to go, but she sure lived her life to the fullest! She was my Senior when I was a Freshman at GPHS, and we were both in band. If I remember correctly she was our Drum Major and she was awesome!!! I also remember her driving the white Ford Thunderbird with white leather interior and suicide doors…I loved that car and I just thought she was so impressive…as well as with her in dance lessons when we were younger…so beautiful inside and out! We’re very thankful to have seen her and visit at a GPHS reunion in 10/16! What a beautiful soul…God’s many blessings to you all and may we all meet again with our Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ…what a wonderful time that will be…Bruce and Jilayne (Jil Yeiter) Rowe
