BETSY CHAFFIN LOBUE KILLINGSWORTH
Betsy Chaffin Lobue Killingsworth , 85, of Longview died peacefully at her residence Monday, June 8th. She was born September 11, 1923 at Waco, Texas to Charlie and Ida Lynn Gorham Chaffin. She lived a short time in Breckenridge before moving to Longview with her family. She was a long-time member of Longview's First Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Tommy Lobue and S.H. Killingsworth; her two sisters, Gladys Chaffin Whitaker and Dorothy Chaffin Anderson; and long-time companion, Ron Elling. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Jimmie Lobue; a daughter, Becky Davis; grandchildren, Pam Rasch, Tony Davis, Gae Davis, Logan Lobue and wife Lisa, Mitchell Lobue and wife Angie, Camille Wildt and husband Richard; great grandchildren, Donald Stevens, Trey Rasch, Eryn Rasch, Devan Lobue, Brady Lobue, Abigail Lobue, and great-great grandchild, Peyton Stephens.
Betsy was blessed with a great life full of travel, playing bridge, being a member of many clubs, and enjoying her many friends.
Graveside services will be 10 am Wednesday, June 10th at Memory Park Cemetery with Rev. David English officiating. Interment at Memory Park will follow under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
