Graveside services for Bertha Taylor, 86, of Pittsburg formerly of Longview will be held at Three O?clock p.m. Wednesday August 6, 2003 at the Gum Springs Cemetery in Longview with Reverend Merle Brooks and Reverend David Kizer officiating. Burial will follow in Gum Springs Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mrs. Taylor passed away Monday August 4, 2003 in a Pittsburg Hospital.
She was born August 27, 1916 in Ironton, Texas to William and Maggie Winn. She was a lifetime resident of Longview until she moved to Pittsburg in 1999. She was a homemaker and a member of the Woodland Hills Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Judy and Ira Sharp of Pittsburg; Betty Pierce of Longview; son and daughter-in-law, William and Kay Taylor of LaGrange, California; five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband W. M. Taylor three brothers and two sisters.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday August 5, 2003 from 7 pm until 9 pm.
