Bert John “BJ” Jackson III passed away January 3, 2023 at the age of 67. BJ was a Father, Grandfather, Brother and friend to all.
BJ was born in Longview TX on August 30, 1955 to parents Bert and Maxine Jackson. He graduated from Pine Tree High School in 1973 and enlisted in the Air Force immediately following high school. He faithfully served this country in active duty until 1984, then in the reserves ending in 20+ years of service. Once he retired from the service BJ worked for and retired from JO Willams Ford in Gladewater,
BJ was preceded in death by his parents, Bert and Maxine; his wife Kristie Hansen Jackson and his brother Perry Jackson. Those left to cherish their memories of BJ include; His Son John Jackson and wife Bridgett, his son Mark Jackson and his wife Brandy, his late Brother’s wife Sharon Jackson, His brother Jerry Jackson and wife Rita, sister Celia Jackson Taylor and her husband Mark, six grandchildren, Rory, Lorelei, Daphne, Barrett, Amelia and Charlotte, 3 Nieces & 1 Nephew. Several grand nieces and nephews.
A memorial for BJ will be held Friday January 27th at Rader Funeral Home, 1617 Judson Rd, Longview, Tx from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.
