Graveside services for Berle Gene Anderson, 84, of Longview will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at Grace Hill Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Longview Masonic Lodge #404 will conduct. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mr. Anderson was born November 2, 1931 in Cement, Oklahoma to W.N. and Ruth Anderson. He passed away Friday, April 1, in Shreveport, Louisiana.
He was the former owner of Jiffy Plumbing Co. in Longview and employed with the Longview Fire Department for 16 years. Mr. Anderson retired from Groendyke Transport. He was a Mason and a member of the Longview Masonic Lodge, #404 and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
He was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Gloria Anderson; and his wife Louise Anderson; daughter, Deborah Douglas and son, Michael Anderson; twin brother, Merle and brother, Gail.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Tiajuana Neel and husband Mark and his son, Buddy Anderson all of Longview; brother, Glen Anderson of Longview; grandchildren, Heather Goettle, Amanda Goettle, Michael Goettle, Whitney McElroy, Trey Anderson, K.T. Anderson and Jennifer Lopez; 16 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
