Benny G. Edwards' Obituary
Services for Benny Edwards, 60, of Longview will be held at 2pm on Saturday July 22, 2017 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Bro. Kenneth Mills officiating. There will be a time of visitation on Friday from 6-8pm at Rader Funeral Home. Benny was welcomed into the loving arms of the Lord in the morning of July 18, 2017 surrounded by his family.
Benny was born in Longview TX on October 30, 1956 to Lindy and Louise Edwards. Benny was not shy, and never met a stranger; being more than happy to talk to anyone who was willing to listen. He had a love of fishing and all things outdoors; and was always more than happy to do any activity with his family. Benny accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior and was a long time member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church.
Benny was preceded in death by both of his parents, Lindy and Louise Edwards, and his nephew Jesse Edwards. Those left to cherish their memories of Benny include his wife of 35 years, Tammy Edwards; children Bryan Edwards and his wife Crystal and Amanda Edwards; a granddaughter Elizabeth; brothers Lindy Jr., Bobby and his wife Mary, Donald and his wife Donella, Jimmy, and Chris; mother-in-law Reba Fyffe; brothers-in-law Johnny and David Fyffe as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
The family would like to extend special thanks for the outstanding care of Heart to Heart Hospice; and the special attention he received from Robin, Misty, Marla and Lawrence.
