Funeral services for Bennie L. Partin, 90, of Longview will be held at Two O?clock pm Tuesday March 21, 2006 at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home 1617 Judson Road with Reverend Bobby Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mrs. Partin passed away Saturday March 18, 2006 in Longview.
She was born August 29, 1915 in Rosser, Texas to Matt and Hassie Pope. Later they moved to Cherokee County, Texas where she married A. D. Partin. They moved to the Longview area and lived here for 71 years. Loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She is a member of the Greggton First Baptist Church and the Ruth Sunday School Class. She retired from the Pine Tree Independent School District in the Food Service Department.
She was preceded in death by, husband, A.D. Partin, parents, two sisters, one brother, special son-in-law, Gene Webb and granddaughter-in-law, Helen Webb.
She is survived by two daughters, Retha Webb of Longview, TX.; Martha Odom and husband Jerry of Mesquite, TX.; 5 grandchildren, Leann Lankford and husband Kevin of Mesquite, TX.; Cindy Cude and husband David of Longview, TX.; Darla Beesley of Mesquite, TX.; Ronnie Webb and wife Patti of Glen Rose, TX.; Marty Cunningham of Commerce, TX.; 8 great-grandchildren, Sarah and Katie, Aaron and Lauren, Michell, Amanda, Courtney, Morgan Morrison, 3 great-great-grandchildren, Tucker, Mason and Walker. one sister, Evelyn Clinkscales and husband Frank of Pasadena, TX.; several special nieces, nephews and many friends.
The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home on Monday March 20, 2006 from 6 pm until 7:30 pm.
