Bennie Wayne Freeman's Obituary
Bennie Wayne Freeman, 90, of Longview, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2019 in Longview.
B.W. was born in Chalk Hill, Texas to JB and Leona Freeman on October 22, 1928. He graduated from Tatum High School in 1946. He met the love of his life, Deanie Dorsey, and married her on the 9th of June 1953, celebrating 65 happy years this past June. He enjoyed being the taste tester for all her wonderful cooking. B.W. worked as a welder until his retirement. Bennie adored his family and showered them with love all the days of his life.
Mr. Freeman was preceded in death by his parents JB and Leona Freeman, & brother Cecil C. Freeman.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Deanie Freeman, daughters Lesa Madden (Mike) of Kilgore, Melissa Hamblen (John) of Longview, grandchildren Michael Wayne Madden, Jessie Madden, Jason Madden, Syndi Madden Howell, Caleb Barber, Andrew Jordan and Alex Hamblen.
The family will receive friends Monday afternoon at Rader Funeral Home of Longview from 12-2 pm with graveside services to follow at 3:30 pm at Rusk County Memorial Gardens with Dr. Pete Freeman officiating.
