Becky Eugenia Thompson Holberg's Obituary
Becky Eugenia Thompson Holberg was born in Longview, Texas on May 21, 1948 and passed away Saturday, February 15, 2003.
Becky is survived by her husband of 32 years, John Edward Holberg.  They resided in Grand Prairie, Texas, later moving to Cedar Hill, Texas. They have two sons, Jeffrey Holberg and Michael Holberg.  They also have two daughters-in-law,
Jeni, married to Jeffrey and Christine, married to Michael.  She was also blessed with two granddaughters, Hannah and Dylan.  Becky has one sister, Vicki Croom, who is married to David Croom and resides in Corsicana, TX.  She has one brother-in-law, Jim Zinn, of Brighton, MI.  There are two nieces, Meredith Fortier and Alison Douglas, as well as two nephews, Brent Zinn and Ryan Douglas.
Becky was preceded in death by Eugene and Sammie Thompson of Longview, TX, her parents, and Elaine Zinn, her sister-in-law.
Becky graduated from Pine Tree High School where she was a majorette with the Pine Tree Band and a member of the National Honor Society.  She then attended college at North Texas State University.  She grew up in the fellowship of the Pine Tree Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, February 18, 2003  at Pine Tree Cumberland Presbyterian Church under the direction of Rader Funeral Home,  with Reverend Keith Dibble officiating.
Interment will follow in White Cemetery.
The world will be a harder place to live in without Becky.  She was our nurturer, but God?s garden is a little more beautiful with her there.  We will miss her.
