Batte D. Peterson's Obituary
Funeral services for Batte D. Peterson, 77, of Longview, will be 12 Noon Wednesday in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home, Longview, with Dr. David Perkins officiating. Interment will follow in Purley Cemetery, Mt. Vernon, TX, at 3 PM. The family will greet friends at the funeral home Tuesday, from 6 to 8 PM.
Mr. Peterson died in a local hospital Sunday afternoon.
He was born in Mt. Vernon, Texas, January 1, 1930, to the late B.D. and Alice Peterson. Mr. Peterson was a sales person for the Sunshine Biscuit Company and was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous.
He is survived by his wife: JoAnn Peterson of Longview; sons: Michael B. Peterson and wife Vicky of Longview and Jim Clark and wife Shonna of Burleson; daughter: Melissa McRae and husband Doug of Colleyville, TX; grandchildren: Cory and Caden Clark, Amanda Peterson, Avalon, Pierce, Austin and Barrett McRae; special friend: Terry Shields of Longview and his loving dog: Dottie
