Basil C. Wright's Obituary
Basil C. Wright
Known as ''Skipper'' in High School, Basil enjoyed Hunting in the back woods of West Virginia and fishing in the Potomac River. Right after the depression, he left, home working on many construction jobs as a painter and iron worker.
After marriage to a cute Mississippi lady, Basil worked from New York to California building electrical power plants and raising three children.
Longview was one of many cities that Basil lived in and the one he loved the most. He purchased a house in Pine Tree 20 years before retirement, and spent 20 wonderful years tending to his yard and many neighbors also.
We miss him.
