Services for Bartrella J. Watson, 52, of Longview will be held at Noon Monday, March 1, 2004 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview, 1617 Judson Road. Burial will follow in Memory Park Cemetery.
She was born on October 6, 1951 in Rayne, LA. to Willie and Margaret James, and was raised in Crowley, LA. She went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, February 27, 2004 after a long battle with cancer. She was surrounded by family and friends.
Mrs. Watson was preceded in death by her father, and one sister, Freeda May James.
Those left to cherish her memories are her beloved husband of 33 years, Clarence H. Watson; sons, Billy and Bubba Watson; daughter-in-law, Tonya Watson; and two grandchildren, Gage and Zack Watson all of Longview. Stepchildren include, Beverly Rawson, Bobby Watson and Danny Watson; two grandchildren, Natasha Gardner and Shayla Rawson; two great grandchildren, Desiree and Natalie Gardner. She is survived by her mother, 4 brothers, and 4 sisters, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt. She touched a lot of lives and she will be greatly missed by many.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Gregg North Unit, P.O. BOX 906, Longview, Texas, 75606.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, February 29, 2004 from 6 until 8 PM.
