Bart was a great mentor to so many people. I was honored to first meet him around 2005. One of his favorite comments to his employees when he was running Surface Equipment Co was "don't bring me problems, bring me solutions!". He will be sorely missed. Blessings to his family.

My prayers go out for Bart and his family. Bart gave me a job in the early 80's when there wasn't any. He had a huge influence on my life and a great mentor. He was so much like my father "my way or the highway". I will always be grateful for his influence on me. A great man!!!

I worked for Mr. Owens for a few years. He was a funny, kind man who was dedicated to his employees. I adored his love for animals and loved watching him work in his garden across the road from the office. My family will miss him very much!
Bart ...I'm so sorry to read that your Dad passed. I am passing this news on to Jackie Hurlburt and the rest if her family. She said y'all lived across the street from her family, for many years.
