Barry Lynn Williams' Obituary
Graveside services for Mr. Barry Williams will be held at Lakeview Memorial Gardens on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 2:00 PM. Mr. Williams passed away in the early afternoon of January 19, 2022.
Barry was born in Shreveport, LA on July 6, 1954 to parents Ishmael and Melba Williams. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and watching westerns, becoming a great fan of John Wayne in his youth. Barry’s passion was the outdoors, especially anything related to hunting and fishing. Barry was a proud lifetime member of the NRA.
Barry was preceded in death by his parents. Those left to cherish their memories of Barry include his wife of 20 years, Rebecca Williams. Sons, James Howell and wife Jobie; Jason Williams and wife Lisa; and Jared Williams. Grandchildren, Jordan Bice; Briar Howell; Annah Williams; and Augustus Williams. Barry’s sister Doreen “Dodie” Runge; Daniel Runge; Leah Catledge and husband Nick; Dana Van Noppen and husband Corey; and Lindsay Graves and husband Adam.
