Barry Edward Sharp's Obituary
Barry Edward Sharp, 64, of Henderson, Texas, passed away at his home on August 4, 2025. He was born on September 12, 1960, in Marshall, Texas.
Barry was a devoted family man who deeply loved his wife, children, and grandchildren. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. A dedicated and hardworking individual, Barry spent over 40 years working at the Martin Lake Power Plant. He was a member of New Life Church in Henderson, Texas.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sherry Sharp; son Brenton Sharp and his wife Heather, along with their children Jimma and Brentlee; daughter Malorie Perez and her husband German, with their children Guy, Emory, and Gio; and son Johnathan Sharp and his wife Kaylee. Step-son Jason Story and his wife Haley, with their children Jacob and Kaleb. Step-daughter Ashley Story, with children Alexis and Elizabeth Byrd. Daughter in Law Tiffany Story, with children Eli and Gracie. And Grandson Taylor Story.
Barry is also survived by his brothers Larry and Todd, his sister D’Lisa, his mother Becky, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Harold Sharp and Step-son Michel Story
Barry will be remembered for his wholesome heart, his smile that could light up a room, strong work ethic and unwavering love for his family. His legacy will live on forever through the many lives he touched.
