Barbara Nell Grammer Andrews Worrell's Obituary
Funeral services for Nell Grammer Andrews Worrell, 65, of Laneville, are set for 11:00 AM Friday, September 25, 2009, at the Rader Funeral Chapel in Henderson with Rev. Clyde Stephens officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Mrs. Worrell died Saturday, September 19, 2009, at her residence.
She was born March 14, 1944 in New Salem to Dexter Regan and Connie Dee Cora Nichols Grammer. She graduated from Laneville High School in 1962. She lived most of her life in East Texas, recently moving from Red Oak, Texas back to Laneville after seven years. She was a cook for the Henderson Independent School District and also had been a cook at Henderson Memorial Hospital.
She was a member of the Baptist Faith and is now with her Lord and Savior.
Preceding her in death are her parents; brothers and sister, Otis Grammer, Bill Grammer, Don Grammer, Duner Grammer and Josie Gage.
Surviving is her husband Dennis Worrell of Red Oak; his daughter, Kim Worrell of Colorado ;daughter, Michelle Andrews Hammond of White Oak; son James Brian Andrews and wife Xiochitle of Laredo; grandchildren; Mark and Ryan Hammond of White Oak, Gael Richards of Laredo, Brianna and Chelsea Andrews of Laredo, Melissa Andrews of Arizona; sisters, Dorothy Kinsey and husband Wesley of Laneville, Frances Elvick and husband Gene of Longview, and Mary Ackler and husband Russ of Sublimity, Oregon; brothers, Glen Grammer and wife Carol of Longview, Hubert Grammer and wife JoAnn of Ft. Worth, and Robert Grammer of Austin; her beloved cat, Sadie; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends, as well as extended family in West Texas.
Pallbearers will be Don Anderson, Don Gage, Troy Lincecum, Darren Grammer, Terry Kinsey, and Tom Schaetz.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
