Barbara Whelan Wood's Obituary
A Rosary and Funeral Service for Barbara Whelan Wood, 75, of Longview, will be 12 Noon Monday, May 2, 2005 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Deacon Joe Pipak officiating. Ms. Wood died Wednesday, April 27, in a local hospital. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Visitation will be Sunday, May 1, from 4-6 PM at the funeral home.
Ms. Wood was born in Dallas, Texas on February 17, 1930, to Ed and Patricia Wood. She was the organist at Saint Joseph?s Catholic Church in Marshall for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband William R. Wood in 1966.
She is survived by her son, William Wood of Longview, and 3 grandsons: Nathan James Wood, Noah Jefferson Wood, and Nicholas John Wood; and brother, Daniel Edmond Whelan.
