Barbara Simpson's Obituary
Barbara Simpson passed away on December 4, 2023.
She was a Mother, wife, sister, and grandparent. She loved her family, her friends and her church. Her volunteer work for Meals on Wheels, Community Ministries and as a teachers aide, helping young students with their reading, were some of her greatest joys.
However her happiest time was her role as a military wife.
What will always be remembered is that she prayed for all of her children, by name every night. Afterwards she recited the 23rd psalm.
Barbara is survived by her daughter Debi Morgan and Doug Beidler, her son Nick and his wife Vicki, and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Faithfully by her side, until the end was her dog Jitterbug, who she rescued years ago, and was just going to keep until she could find him a home.
A private celebration of her life will be held 10:30 Friday December 8th in the sanctuary of First Christian Church in Longview, for her family, her beloved Cornerstone Class and close friends.
