Barbara Ann Traylor Leverett's Obituary
Born September 17, 1934 in Turnertown, Texas. Daughter of Robert L. and Bertie V.(Cookie) Traylor. Barbara passed away peacefully on March 21st, 2016 at age 81. Graduated from Gaston High School in 1952, where she was salutatorian of her graduating class. Married to Robert C. Leverett, who predeceased her in 2006. She lived in West Texas, Northwest New Mexico and Denver, Colorado prior to moving back to Tyler. She is survived by her brother Lonnie W. Traylor of Henderson, TX. She is also survived by her three children, Joe David Pendleton of Tyler, TX, Dan Leverett of Washington on the Brazos, TX and Nancy Leverett of Houston, TX. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Joey Pendelton of Los Angeles, CA, Laura Leverett of Orlando, FL and Brittney Gatchalian of Jacksonville, FL.
She always loved to recall her early childhood on the R.W. Fair Lease and the many people who worked in the early days of the oil field there, including her father.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, March 24th, 2016 at Rader Funeral Home, 800 Kilgore Drive, Henderson, TX. A visitation period will be held immediately after the memorial service.
