Barbara Jean Smith's Obituary
Memorial services for Barbara Jean Smith , 60, of Longview will be Noon Friday, August 6th at the First Lutheran Church of Longview with Pastor Phil Fenton officiating. Mrs. Smith died Tuesday, August 3rd in Longview after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
She was born April 30, 1944 in Pine River, Minnesota to Roy and Alice Selmi Johnson. She had resided in Longview for three years having moved from Ottumwa, Iowa. Mrs. Smith was a homemaker, a beautician, and was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Longview.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Smith, in 1994 and is survived by: her daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Jeremy Hall of Longview; son, Troy Lawson of New Mexico; daughter, Shannon Passard of Remer, Minnesota; and grandchildren, Lauren and Megan Hall and Kori Passard.
