Barbara Hope Hanen's Obituary
Graveside services for Barbara Hope Hanen, age 71 of Henderson, will be held Monday June 6, 2011, at 10:00am at the Shiloh Cemetery with Rev. Matt Pitts officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of the Rader Funeral Home of Henderson.
Mrs. Hanen died Thursday June 3, 2011 at a local nursing home.
She was born May 31, 1940 to Thomas David and Mildred Elizabeth Smith in Austin, Texas. Barbara was nurse's aide, she was also a military wife and lived in many places. She also enjoyed sewing and singing gospel songs.
She is survived by children Candy Akin & husband Tim of Minden, Wayne Winfrey of Moline, IL. David Winfrey of Austin, Linda Joy of Arlington, and Paul Winfrey of Austin. Grandchildren; Carlos Winfrey, Jennifer Jasper & husband Brent, Nicole Ignasiak, Jessica Akin, Wayne Winfrey Jr., Adalay Winfrey, and Claire Winfrey. Great grandchildren Christian Woodard, Pierce Jasper, and Alysa Moreno.
