Barbara Ann Hodges' Obituary
Barbara Ann Tanner Hodges peacefully passed away Monday, February 24, 2020 surrounded by her family. She was welcomed to heaven by her husband of 63 years, Jimmy, and her mother, Lula Welborn Ingram. She was born September 18, 1938 in Athens, TX. She was retired from the Longview Independent School District where she worked as a school secretary first at Foster Middle School then with South Ward Elementary School.
Barbara is survived by her children, Annette Hodges Knox and husband Mark, James Hodges and wife Teresa, Missy Zimmerman and husband Phillip; her grandchildren Adam Knox and wife Sarah, Kimberly Hodges Beall and husband Joe, Kristi Knox Edge and husband Wayman, James Michael Hodges and wife Laura, David Hodges, Britney Zimmerman and Zachary Zimmerman; her great grandchildren Canaan and Kalena Beall, Logan and Gamble Edge and Ethan Knox; her sisters Sue Capua and Judy Ratley and her brothers Tom and Steve Tanner.
A celebration of her life will be held Friday, February 28, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Baptist Church, Lakeport, TX.
